Kingston Artists Open Studios 2018

So this happened a couple of weeks ago.  I probably should have written about this before the event but I got so busy preparing that writing had to be delayed to now.  However, happy to say, the event went very well. Kingston Artists Open Studios have organised this annual event for many years but having only joined 3 years ago, I can only talk about recent years.  This year was by far the biggest and most successful.  We had 90 artists showing their work in 19 different venues.

I had 3 amazing artists sharing my venue:

Emily Limna a printmaker

Jude Wild a painter

Janice Gravett a ceramist

We all have quite different styles of work, but being displayed together we blended so well with each other.  It was wonderful to open to local residents and also many people that travelled a long way.  We enjoyed many interesting conversations and happily sold art too.  Here are a few photos from the two weekends.
